On 6th December we had the very great pleasure of meeting Jenny Graham from Borders Crematorium to say a huge thank you to her and all the team at the Westerleigh Group for their amazing donation. Jenny spent the morning with us watching two teams of crew undergo training, visiting our little harbour shop and answering all our questions about the caring and essential work that she does. Thank you for all your support and for the donation which will be put to very good use.
And on 11th December we were very honoured to be invited to the Christmas Carol & Memorial Service at Borders Crematorium in Melrose. The beautiful words of Ben Foreman who conducted the service allowed us to reflect and remember all those who are no longer with us in our Lifeboat community. It was a very moving evening.
